In his 23 years on the hill, Roger “Rocket” Clemens amassed some very impressive statistics, he finished – 2nd in wins with 314, 2nd in starts with 699, 2nd in innings 4,894 2/3, 2nd in complete games 183, 1st in strikeouts 4,449, 1st in walks 1,850, 1st in losses 242, & 3rd in shutouts 35. Four times he won 20 or more games. In 1998 Roger set the single season record with 304 strikeouts & posted a 20-2 record the next year. Remarkably, at the age of 43, Clemens, in 2006, won the Cy Young Award, with the lowest single season ERA 1.66 in IAL History, winning 21 games, while losing only 3 times, and allowing only 80 hits in 211 1/3 innings pitched. His teams made the postseason 16 times, finishing 1st 4 times, with 4 rings.
